La Pita is the street food concept by chef Zisis Kyrkos, first introduced in 2023 at gàstra in Brussels. A project that reimagines the Greek pita through a contemporary urban lens, blending authenticity, technique, and urban sophistication.
At the core of La Pita lies a bold, modern interpretation of lamb slow-cooked in a traditional gastra. Tender, juicy, and deeply aromatic, it is wrapped in a fluffy, handmade sourdough pita, striking a perfect balance between comfort and refinement. It is paired with homemade tzatziki, fresh and crisp salad, while a fig, honey, and citrus vinaigrette acts as the ultimate finishing touch — subtle, balanced, and absolutely essential.
La Pita by gàstra is street food with attitude, character, and a clean aesthetic. A pop-up concept that fits just as naturally into a lunch break as it does into the city’s after-work mood, speaking the language of contemporary urban gastronomy.
Initially launched as an exclusive pop-up experience at gàstra, available only to Gastra members and insiders.
As of January 2026, La Pita is on air,
Monday – Friday | 11:30 – 14:00 & 18:00 – 20:00.

La Pita is not just street food.
It’s urban. It’s sexy. It’s flavor with identity.
